Not long after, I received a call from Just Roses explaining they didn’t think they could make the delivery that day because of staffing issues, which I certainly understood.I explained that a friend of mine recently entered hospice and time was short. I live six hours away and had no opportunity to get there in time to visit. Unfortunately, my order came in after the delivery driver had left for the day already. I requested that if it couldn’t be done the same day perhaps first thing in the morning. I wanted my friend to know I was thinking of them.Somehow, they managed to get the order delivered yesterday (same day) and apparently it was a very beautiful bouquet. I really appreciate the extra effort, and so did my friend. Their spirits were improved and today they had a good day. In my time of approaching grief, they came through.
